The new training materials are here... the new training materials are here!!!

Oh joy and w00t, I just got my hands on the new Flex 3 Training materials from Adobe. I'm going to start going over them immediately, but first I wanted to give an update on the new courses (if you don't already know them by now.)
The first thing you notice when looking at the new Flex 3 course lineup is the push for integration with LiveCycle Data Services. There are three classes dealing with LCDS and Flex 3; those are:
- Flex 3 and LCDS: Integrating with ColdFusion 8
- Flex 3 and LCDS: Integrating with Data and Messaging
- LiveCycle ES: Integrating Flex with LiveCycle ES
Also, there is the addition of a Cairngorm class (Introducing Cairngorm). It appears to be basic class, but it is the first official offering of courseware for Cairngorm by Adobe.
If I get a chance, I'll review these courses and give some info on what is included. However, the big changes are in the Flex 3 courseware. Gone (of course) is the class concerning Data and Communications and FDS, since this functionality has been wrapped up in LiveCycle. However, the names of the Flex 3 courses suggest that the Flex 2 training materials have had a bit of a make- over.
- Flex 3: Building Dashboard and Charting Applications
- Flex 3: Developing Rich Client Applications
- Flex 3: Extending and Styling Components
More emphasis on charting in the BDA class... no more Programming the Visual Experience... and extending and styling in the same class?
I'll review the files, and give more info in separate posts. But, it looks like some of the issues I have had with the Flex 2 training materials could be remedied in these Flex 3 versions. Stay tuned...
